Now we have monthly, in person meetings on the 4th Thursday of the month, starting at noon.

Every month of the year. Location: Stranded by the Sea shop. Zoom links for a hybrid meeting will be emailed to every paid member.

Our monthly meetings have a specific topic of discussion, with an appointed leader. Some upcoming topics are listed below.

April 2024

Our April meeting will focus on converting HK patterns to MK. This will be a group discussion of our experiences, not a specific person making a presentation.

The pattern we will focus on is a v neck top, attached here as a PDF.

A book was suggested by Sarah: Tricia Shafer Edward's book "Translating Hand Knit to Machine Knit" published in 2014 and is available on Amazon for free with Kindle unlimited or for $12.99. Tricia used to be one of the teachers for machine knitting on the circuit. She teaches Design and Machine Knitting in LA at FIDM. Another book is "Hand Knits by Machine" by Susan Guagliumi. This book is of course also available on Amazon.com

==>> Please come prepared to talk about this topic in April.
